The esports team managed by Elmer Cevallos has wrapped up their 2024-2025 season with notable developments amid challenges and transitions. Cevallos reflects on the season by acknowledging the difficulties faced due to the graduation of leading players. Despite these setbacks, he emphasizes the dedication and perseverance of the team.

"This season has been a challenging yet inspiring journey for the Bruins, marked by intense competition and remarkable resilience in the face of transition. Despite losing several top-tier players to graduation, our esports teams have shown unwavering determination," Cevallos stated.

The team's Valorant squad made a strong impression during the Fall of 2024 by reaching the semifinals, demonstrating their competitiveness despite roster changes. In contrast, the Rocket League team, while performing admirably on an individual level, narrowly missed advancing to the East finals, gaining essential insights for future improvements.

Cevallos continued, "In Fall 2024, our Valorant squad surged into the semifinals, showcasing that even amidst change our competitive edge remains sharp. Meanwhile, although our Rocket League team delivered impressive individual performances throughout the season, they fell just short of clinching a spot in the finals in the East, leaving us with valuable lessons and clear objectives for the future."

The Spring season saw the Valorant team secure a solid playoff position, building on prior achievements. Conversely, the Call of Duty team faced a major setback due to an unavoidable forfeit but remained resilient through their matches.

"The Spring season brought its own set of challenges, as our Valorant team built on their earlier momentum to secure a strong playoff appearance, and our Call of Duty team, despite a significant setback caused by an unavoidable forfeit, demonstrated persistence in a series of hard-fought matches," said Cevallos.

Confidence in future prospects is evident as the team looks forward to enhancing their legacy with new talent and revised strategies. Cevallos concluded by saying, "With renewed talent and refined strategies on the horizon, the Bruins are set to not only maintain our legacy but also to elevate our game, proving that adversity is simply the stepping stone to greater success."

The team extends heartfelt thanks to their supporters and expresses eagerness for a stronger comeback next season.
