Carolina University and Mid Atlantic Christian University each take a win in doubleheader showdown

Mid Atlantic Christian University and Carolina University split a doubleheader at Rich Park on April 9, 2025. The first game saw Mid Atlantic securing a win with an 11-7 scoreline. Mid Atlantic Christian University's offense proved effective, scoring two runs in the first inning, followed by two more in the second, and five in the third. Carolina University attempted to rally, scoring three runs in the first inning, but they ultimately could not bridge the gap.

Key performances for Carolina University included Paxton Tucker with three hits, Chase Lee with three hits and one RBI, Danny Gonzalez with two hits and three RBIs, whereas pitcher Michael Dressendorfer took the loss. For Mid Atlantic Christian University, T. Snell made an impact with three hits and one RBI, J. Collado had four hits and two RBIs, A. Schell contributed with one hit and five RBIs, and pitcher J. Cabrera secured the win.

In the second game, Carolina University rebounded with a 6-5 victory. Mid Atlantic Christian University initially led with four runs in the second inning. Still, Carolina University responded with three runs in the same inning. They managed to secure their win with additional runs in the fifth.

For Carolina University, Chase Lee was notable with three hits, including a home run and an RBI. Randy De Maio hit a home run for one RBI, Elias Nurideen added three hits and two RBIs, and Derek Martinez was the winning pitcher. On the other side, Mid Atlantic saw contributions from D. Boswell with one hit and three runs, J. Collado with two hits and three RBIs, and A. Schell with three hits. D. Jacobsen was recorded with the loss.

Looking ahead, Carolina University's team is scheduled to travel to Toccoa Falls, Georgia, on April 11th and 12th for two doubleheaders against Toccoa Falls and Fort Lauderdale.
