Carolina University Baseball opened its season with a three-game series against Bluefield University Rams in Mocksville, NC. The Bruins faced challenges throughout the series, starting with a 12-3 loss in the first game. Despite the defeat, Alexiel Delgado and Alejandro Rodriguez each managed to hit home runs.

The second game was closely contested, ending in an 8-7 loss for the Bruins. Chase Lee made a significant impact by hitting a grand slam in the bottom of the seventh inning, narrowing the gap to just one run. However, the team could not capitalize further and fell short of tying the game.

In Game 3, both teams were evenly matched until Bluefield gained momentum in the fourth inning with seven runs. Although Alex Noll contributed with another home run for Carolina University, they ultimately lost 10-1.
