Winston-Salem, NC—Carolina University Athletics has announced Jake Boldog as the new Head Men's Volleyball Coach. Hailing from Chicago, IL, Boldog brings seven years of coaching experience and a strong background in collegiate volleyball. He is entering as the second coach to lead the program since its inaugural season in 2021.

Jake Boldog is an alumnus of North Greenville University (NGU), where he earned a degree in Business. During his time at NGU, Boldog was a pivotal player for the Crusaders volleyball team, significantly contributing to their success. He played a total of 294 sets and tallied 1,690 assists during his collegiate career.

Notably, Boldog currently holds the record for the highest number of assists in a season at NGU, with 920 assists during his sophomore season. His experience as both a player and a coach exemplifies his deep understanding of the game and his commitment to excellence.

"Coach Boldog was an excellent choice to step in to lead our Men's Volleyball team," noted Athletic Director Chelsea Jones. "His strong foundation of Christian faith, along with his personality and overall coaching ability will play a major role in the success of the program moving forward."
