Work continues on the Kernersville Sewer Rehabilitation Project. The following streets will have lane closures on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., starting Tuesday, May 28:
- Mountain Street between Nelson and Vernon streets – center turn lane only
- Mountain Street between Allen and Short streets – center turn lane only
- Cherry Street between Mountain and Hugh streets – center turn lane only
The work is expected to be completed by Friday, May 31, weather permitting. The contractor is responsible for all traffic control, and motorists are encouraged to plan for alternate routes.
