Work on the System-Wide and Sprague Neighborhood Sewer Rehabilitation projects in Winston-Salem is ongoing. As part of these efforts, a contractor will close certain streets during weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., starting Monday, March 24.

The affected areas include Cherry Street between Fifth and Sixth streets, Sixth Street between Cherry and Trade streets, and Bloomfield Drive between Allen and Wilbur streets. The work is anticipated to be completed by Friday, March 28, depending on weather conditions.

The contractor will manage all traffic control measures. Motorists are advised to plan for alternate routes during this period.
