34 percent of applicants to Piedmont International University were admitted for fall 2018

At Piedmont International University, 63 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 59 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Winston-Salem enrolled 896 students in fall 2018, including 496 in undergraduate and 400 in graduate programs, data shows. 26.2 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

50 percent of undergraduates are residents of North Carolina, and 49 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (56 percent) and Black or African American (20 percent).

The school admitted 34 percent of the 496 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 68 percent enrolled.
