Carolina University Women's Soccer faced a challenging home match against the Tornados of Brevard College, ultimately falling 1-4.

The Tornados struck first, scoring two goals in the first half. An unexpected lightning delay paused the action, but once play resumed, the Bruins were able to capitalize on the break. Alondra Ramon broke through for the Bruins, netting an unassisted goal shortly after halftime. The team continued to push for more, registering five shots on goal, but couldn't find the back of the net again. The Bruins' goalkeeper made four crucial saves, keeping the team in contention despite the final score.

The Blue and Gold will return to action on Saturday, September 21st, as they travel to Bluefield State University for their second matchup against the Danes. The Bruins look to build on their efforts and secure a win.
