Residents Invited to Forward 2045 Public Input Meetings

Residents of Winston-Salem, North Carolina have been invited to participate in a series of public input meetings regarding land use preferences for the upcoming comprehensive plan, Forward 2045.

The Planning and Development Services Department is organizing five sessions where citizens can provide feedback on land use preferences for areas adjacent to neighborhoods, rural areas, and new beltway interchanges. These inputs will be crucial in shaping the land use policy recommendations for Forward 2045.

According to the announcement, the meetings are designed to allow residents to drop in at any time and share their thoughts without any formal presentations. The sessions will take place at the following locations and times:

- On Tuesday, March 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. at South Fork Community Center, 4403 Country Club Road, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27104

- On Wednesday, March 20 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Sprague Street Community Center, 1350 E. Sprague St., Winston-Salem, N.C. 27107

- On Monday, March 25 from Noon to 2 p.m. at Central Library, 660 W. Fifth St., Winston-Salem, N.C. 27101

- On Monday, March 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Rural Hall Branch Library, 7125 Broad St., Rural Hall, N.C. 27045

- On Tuesday, March 26 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Minnie Lee Davis Harris Community Center, 2020 NE 14th St., Winston-Salem, N.C. 27105
