Winston-Salem residents are advised of a temporary road closure on Glenn Avenue as part of the Peters Creek Outfall project. According to a recent announcement, a contractor has shut down the thoroughfare between Trade Street and Patterson Avenue to facilitate essential improvements to the wastewater system. The closure is anticipated to last until Tuesday, March 5.

In response to the street closure, motorists are urged to consider alternative routes during this period. The contractor overseeing the project will manage all traffic control, with detours in place to redirect vehicles accordingly.

For further information on capital improvement projects, interested parties are directed to visit the city's official website at cityofws.org/cip. Those seeking additional details or with inquiries related to the closure can reach out to CityLink via email at citylink@cityofws.org, by phone at 336-727-8000, or through various communication channels available on cityofws.org/citylink. Residents are also encouraged to subscribe to the Alert Center and News Flash for Utilities updates on cityofws.org/notifyme.
