The Winston-Salem Fire Department has announced a change to its Inspection Request process. Starting immediately, individuals and businesses can now request inspections and permits through a new application link provided by the department.

According to the Fire and Life Safety Branch of the Winston-Salem Fire Department, this new process will allow users to directly connect with their assigned Inspector. This direct connection will streamline communication and ensure a smoother inspection process.

In addition to the new application link, there is also a change in the payment procedure for inspection fees. Once an inspection is scheduled, users will receive an invoice for any relevant fees. These fees will need to be paid through the Winston-Salem City Revenue Department located at 100 E First St.

To address any questions or concerns regarding the updated Inspection Request process, the Winston-Salem Fire Department can be contacted through the following channels:

- Email: inspect@cityofwsfire.org

- Phone: 336-734-1290

This change in the Inspection Request process aims to improve efficiency and customer experience for those in need of inspections and permits in Winston-Salem. By connecting directly with their assigned Inspector and simplifying the payment process, individuals and businesses can expect a more streamlined and convenient process.

"We are excited about this new Inspection Request process and believe it will greatly enhance our ability to serve the Winston-Salem community," said a spokesperson from the Winston-Salem Fire Department.

Individuals and businesses in Winston-Salem are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the new application link and contact the Fire Department for any further assistance or information.
