It's almost a brand-new year! As we move forward into 2023, we invite you to think of all of the ways in which the Davidson County Public Library system is there to support you in every stage of life. Our mission statement is to provide resources and services for "Reading, Thinking, Learning, and Living." Here is a list of some of those FREE resources:

1. Books, Audiobooks, Magazines, DVDs, and BluRay available for checkout.

2. Digital libraries with thousands of titles available for checkout onto your device through the apps Hoopla & Libby.

3. Mobile Hotspots for internet access on the go (available for checkout).

4. Streaming video through the platform of Kanopy and streaming music through Freegal.

5. Passes to the NC Zoo (2 per household).

6. Wi-Fi access on property (including the parking lots).

7. Public computers (use allowed with library card or photo ID).

8. Homework assistance through the digital resources of World Book Online and Learning Express Library.

9. Language learning through Transparent Language Online.

10. D.I.Y. assistance through Gale Legal Forms and Chilton Auto Library. Find legal forms and learn car maintenance with your library card!

Davidson County Public Library patrons will find all of this and so much more. Drop by your local branch, speak with a staff member, and click around our website https://www.co.davidson.nc.us/274/Library to find out more.

Be sure to visit our branches across Davidson County. We have locations in Denton, Lexington, North Davidson, Thomasville, West Davidson, and the Davidson County Historical Museum.

New Year. New you. A new relationship with your local library.
