With the high winds and heavy rain, here are things you NEED to know:

Call local power companies to report outages in the area; not local law enforcement

For welfare checks, found or stranded animals, low-hanging trees, or blocked roadways, call our non-emergency number at 336-727-2112

Do NOT call and ask for information regarding ETAs of other agencies

Prepare ahead of time - buy food, water, batteries, flashlights, etc.
Remember, ONLY call 911 for emergencies. We expect a high call volume over the weekend; please be patient, and most importantly, if possible, stay home! As always, we will do our best to keep the community safe and respond as quickly as possible.
