Forsyth County Commissioners met with state lawmakers in Raleigh as part of County Assembly Day on June 14.
The NC Assocation of County Commissioner (NCACC) hosts the annual day as a way for county officials from around the state to hear from and meet with their state legislative representatives. Forsyth County commissioners met with Sen. Joyce Krawiec, Rep. Donny Lambeth, Rep. Jeff Zenger and Rep. Kyle Hall.
“We’re grateful for our state lawmakers for meeting with us to discuss the needs and interests of Forsyth County, and we appreciate their continued partnership in working to make our community a better place. These meetings were a follow-up to the Commissioners' meeting with our local legislators in Winston-Salem, which also included Senator Lowe and Representative Baker,” said County Commissioner Chair Dave Plyler.
The NCACC is a non-partisan organization that serves as the official voice of all 100 counties on issues considered by the General Assembly, Congress, and federal and state agencies.
