Stokes County recently issued the following announcement.
Section 1. Pursuant to the Stokes County Emergency Management Ordinance and Chapter
166A of the General Statutes and Article 36A Chapter 14 of the General Statutes,
I have determined that a State of Emergency as defined in the Stokes County
Emergency Management Ordinance no longer exist in the County of Stokes.
Section 2. I, therefore, proclaim the termination of a State of Emergency in the County of
Stokes that was declared on _1/14/2022_for the Winter Weather event
in the County of Stokes.
Section 3. This proclamation shall become effective immediately.
Terminated this the 19th day of January, 2022_, at 08:00am.
