Forsyth County issued the following announcement on November 10.
N.C. Cooperative Extension, Forsyth county Center was honored to host the 2021 Farm City Luncheon on November 1.
The Extension staff presented table displays to show their work and encourage guests to engage in their programs in the coming year. A wonderful lunch was provided by amazing support from the Forsyth County Farm Bureau and the Forsyth County Soil and Water Board.
The program was led by Susan Adelmann Kelly, our emcee, and included wonderful greetings from three County Commissioners - Dave Plyer, Richard Linville and Flemin El-Amin - along with Toby Bost with the Soil and Water Conservation Board, in addition to our keynote speaker, NC House of Representatives member Donny Lambeth. Door prizes ended the event.
We look forward to hosting another luncheon next year!
