Village of Clemmons issued the following announcement on October 10.
The leaves are falling in Clemmons, and it may be an easy solution to just blow them out in the road, However this can create issues such as lane narrowing for vehicles, slick surfaces and blocked storm drains to name a few, and it is a violation of ordinances § 50.34 ILLICIT DISCHARGES and § 51.11 ROADWAY DRAINAGE . Please do your part and keep those leaves behind the curb line, or street for our leaf trucks to pick up! Please help keep our roadways clear not just for this time of year, but all year!
