Forsyth County recently issued the following announcement on July 17.
COUNTY BEGINS DISTRIBUTION OF REOPEN FORSYTH PPE KITS
Distribution of kits from the Reopen Forsyth PPE Kit Program began on Tuesday, July 14.
Businesses arranged to pick up the kits at one of several sites in the county. The kits include both reusable and disposable masks, gloves, hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes. This Forsyth County Government program is funded with $300,000 of state Coronavirus Relief Fund money.
The PPE kits can be requested at forsyth.cc/covidupdate/#pperequest. To qualify, businesses must be locally owned and operated in Forsyth County, have been impacted by COVID-19 Stay at Home Orders, and require in-person interaction with the public. Once they apply, businesses will be contacted by a partnering agency to confirm qualification and schedule pickup for a PPE Kit.
