City of Winston Salem recently issued the following announcement on July 17.
ORBIS Reusable Packaging Management, a global supply chain company, will increase its Forsyth County presence with an expansion at Union Cross Business Park. ORBIS currently has operations in the Triad in both Winston-Salem and Greensboro.
The company will occupy about 65,000 square feet of space in the Union Cross Business Park and have 25 employees on site. The site will be used for the management, cleaning, repair, and replenishment of reusable plastic pallets, layer pads, and top frames. The company offers supply chain solutions to beverage manufacturers, providing a reusable and sustainable method to transport beverage cans.
“We are excited for the expanded space and more efficient layout for operating, shipping and receiving,” said Bart Lantz, Vice-President of ORBIS RPM Operations and Administration. “Additionally, the improved facility capabilities for automated processing will bring value to our associates and ultimately our customers.”
