Forsyth County issued the following announcement on May 29.
The Forsyth County Tax Office will re-open the Collections section of the Tax Office to the general public beginning Monday, June 1, 2020. As part of Forsyth County’s efforts to take preventative steps to protect the health and safety of employees and the public, all walk-in visitors needing property tax assistance will be helped in the Tax Payment Collections section of the office. Social distancing will be enforced and PPE is strongly encouraged to prevent the potential spread of Covid-19.
These measures will be in effect until further notice.
