Work on the System-Wide and Sprague Neighborhood Sewer Rehabilitation projects in Winston-Salem continues with scheduled street closures. A contractor will close several streets weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Monday, April 21. The affected streets are:
- Buena Vista Road between Westover Avenue and Avalon Road
- Lambeth Street between Ferndale and Cranford Streets
- Junia Avenue from Dacian Street and the dead-end
- Milford Street between Marne Street and Junia Avenue
- Peachtree Street between Verdun Street and Junia Avenue.
The work is expected to be completed by Friday, April 25, weather permitting. The contractor is handling all traffic control. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and plan for alternate routes.
