Sixth Street closure planned for sewer rehabilitation in Winston-Salem

Work on the System-Wide Sewer Rehabilitation project in Winston-Salem is set to continue with a scheduled closure of Sixth Street. The street will be closed to through traffic between Poplar and Spruce streets on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., starting Tuesday, November 12. The work is expected to conclude by Friday, November 15, depending on weather conditions.

The contractor handling the project will manage all necessary traffic control measures. Motorists are advised to plan for alternative routes during this period.
