The Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) of the Triad will hold a ceremonial groundbreaking for its new facility in Winston-Salem on Friday, June 28 at 10 a.m. The event will take place at 1741 Motor Road, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27105.

PACE of the Triad is a nonprofit agency funded partly through Medicare and Medicaid services and the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services. It currently serves Guilford and Rockingham counties.

The organization purchased five acres on Motor Road from the city of Winston-Salem for $250,000. Plans include constructing a 32,087-square-foot building with an expected cost of $15 million. The project is anticipated to be completed by the end of 2025.

The new facility will offer services such as medical and dental clinics, an interactive social center, home care, and rehabilitation services for individuals aged 55 years and older in Forsyth, Surry, and Stokes counties.
