A contractor will close Brewer Road to through traffic between Ethel Drive and Ridgeview Avenue in Winston-Salem weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Thursday, Feb. 29, for improvements to the wastewater system. Work is expected to be completed by Friday, March 8. Motorists are encouraged to plan for alternate routes during this period.
