With the first winter storm of the season approaching, the city of Winston-Salem is continuing to work with local agencies to provide emergency shelter to individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Single men and women in need of help should contact City With Dwellings at 502 N. Broad St., Winston-Salem, N.C. 27101 or by calling (336) 790-9766.
Families in need of shelter should contact the Coordinated Intake Center line at (336) 721-9327.
City With Dwellings will extend its shelter hours this weekend during the cold weather. Emergency shelter is also available year-round at Samaritan Ministries, Bethesda Center for the Homeless and the Salvation Army of Winston-Salem.
