“Rock Out the Quarry” Returns on July 1

Fireworks, food trucks and live music are on tap Saturday evening, July 1, during “Rock Out the Quarry,” a pre-Fourth of July festival being held from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Quarry at Grant Park, 1750 Quarry Park Road. The park and shuttle service will open at 5 p.m.

Music will be provided by the O.S.P. Band and DJ Tony Tone and 22 food trucks are signed up to participate.

Attendees should bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. WTSA will provide free park & ride shuttles from Bowman Gray Stadium. There will be no event parking at Quarry Park.

Rock Out the Quarry is being presented by Vulcan Materials Co. with additional support from the Winston-Salem Dash, and is being organized by the Winston-Salem Recreation and Parks and Police departments.
