Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools Arts Council issued the following announcement on January 24.
The Winston-Salem Symphony (WSS) seeks a full-time Marketing Manager who will be responsible for the implementation of marketing strategies through initiatives that promote WSS concerts, events, educational programs, and increased brand visibility. This key position will help lead new audience development, ticket sales growth, and building excitement around the Symphony’s programming.
The Marketing Manager is accountable for creating and executing public relations and marketing plans, including earned media, advertising, digital, and direct mail campaigns to achieve budgeted ticket sales goals. This position manages public relations, communications, ad trafficking, and agency/consultant relationships.
Additionally, the Marketing Manager supervises the Patron Services Manager to support consistent patron-specific communications and alignment with marketing.
This is an in-office or hybrid (in-office/work from home) position with concert/special event duties on some evenings and weekends.

Compensation:
$48,000 – $55,000 annually with benefits (See Other Benefits below)
Other Benefits:
Following successful completion of a 90-day period and in accordance with prevailing employee policies: 21 days Paid Time Off (PTO) plus 11 paid holidays; medical, dental, vision, short- and long-term disability insurance; life insurance equal to one-time annual salary
