Carolina University faced a challenging match against North Greenville University, ultimately losing in straight sets (16-25, 15-25, 14-25). Despite the loss, the team displayed determination and had individual standout performances that offer hope for future games.

Jamison Johnson led Carolina University's efforts with three kills and two blocks. Darren Lowe Gaillard and Kai Jamerson each added two kills to the team's tally. Wesley Diggs contributed significantly by setting up seven assists. On defense, Jashawn Sykes managed nine receptions. However, the team struggled offensively with a hitting percentage of -.121.

North Greenville University saw impressive performances from Michael de la Cruz who achieved four kills and two service aces with a .600 hitting percentage. Caleb Kleinlein delivered five flawless kills on as many attempts, maintaining a perfect 1.000 hitting percentage. Logan Taylor also played an essential role with six assists and two service aces. NGU ended the match with a .375 hitting percentage and outperformed Carolina in total kills (29-9).

The first set began competitively for Carolina U as they traded points early on but eventually lost momentum due to NGU's effective attacking and serving strategies. The Bruins' offensive inconsistencies were evident through their 13 attack errors which allowed North Greenville to dominate the pace of play.

In subsequent sets, while there were moments of solid performance from Carolina U, they failed to maintain prolonged pressure against NGU's depth and aggressive serves which stifled their ability to build any substantial momentum.

Carolina University is set to face St. Andrews at home on March 11 at 6 pm as they look to bounce back from this defeat.
