Bruins women's basketball falls short against VUL Dragons

The Women's Basketball team of Winston-Salem faced the Virginia University of Lynchburg Dragons on their home court. The Bruins put forth a strong effort but ultimately lost with a score of 48-57.

Le'Asia Matthews led the Bruins' offense, scoring 17 points. Keani Jackson also made significant contributions with a double-double, adding 10 points and 10 rebounds to the team's performance. Despite these efforts, the Dragons established an early lead in the first quarter that the Bruins could not overcome.

Looking ahead, the Bruins will play their final game of the season at home against Regent University. This match will also serve as Senior Night and is scheduled for February 22nd at 3:00 PM.
