Carolina University's softball team began their season with a doubleheader against Milligan University. The games took place in Milligan, Tennessee.

In the first game, the Buffaloes initially led, but Carolina's Bruins rallied back. Errors by the Buffaloes allowed the Bruins to score most of their runs in the fourth inning. Bre Payne added 2 RBIs, while Danielle Brooks pitched for several innings and achieved 2 strikeouts, securing a win for the Bruins with an 8-6 final score.

The second game saw the Bruins fall short by 2 runs. Although they responded to an early deficit with a strong offensive performance in the second inning—featuring 3 RBIs each from Chloe Herbster and Brooks—the Buffaloes made a decisive comeback in the sixth inning with 6 runs. This resulted in an 8-10 loss for the Bruins.

Looking ahead, Carolina University will play against St. Andrews University on Tuesday, February 18, with a doubleheader starting at 1:00 PM away from home.
