The Carolina University Men's Basketball team achieved a narrow victory against the University of Fort Lauderdale Eagles, with a final score of 71-70. The match took place on the Bruins' home court in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Initially, the Eagles took control of the game and led by 11 points at halftime, with a score of 38-27. However, the Bruins made a comeback in the second half. They managed to tie the game at 54-54 with ten minutes remaining.

A pivotal moment came when Chris High scored a three-pointer, pushing the Bruins ahead to 57-56. High contributed significantly to his team's performance with 22 points and an impressive six out of seven successful three-point shots.

As time dwindled down and with the Bruins trailing by one point at 69-70, Aundree Polk successfully executed two free throws. This gave Carolina University a slim lead that they maintained until the final buzzer sounded. Their defense proved resilient as they stopped any further scoring attempts from the Eagles.
