Carolina University's women's volleyball team participated in the NCCAA National Tournament, facing Columbia International University and Mid-America Christian University.

On the first day of pool play, the Bruins played against the Rams. They struggled initially, losing the first set 17-23. The second set was closely contested, ending at 23-25. The Bruins found their form in the third set, winning 26-24 with Sarah Elizabeth Samuels contributing significantly by recording 10 kills. However, they could not maintain this momentum and lost the fourth set 15-25 to the top-seeded Rams.

Despite their defeat, Carolina's efforts were commendable on both defense and offense. Kamra King and Rebecca Walker each managed to secure 17 kills. However, difficulties with serve receive hindered their ability to maintain an effective offensive strategy.

The second day saw Carolina face Mid-America Christian University in another four-set match. The Bruins lost the first set 12-25 but rallied to win the second set 25-19. They performed well in the third set with a hitting percentage of .371 but eventually lost the next two sets 17-25 and 12-25.

Although they were defeated again, Carolina fought hard against Mid-America's challenging serves. Sion Murrain led with nine kills, while senior setter Kamra King achieved her 1,000th career dig—a notable accomplishment for her.

Carolina University's women's volleyball team will compete again tonight against Bethel University on December 5th at 6:00 PM during day two of the tournament.
