Carolina University's volleyball team faces mixed results in weekend tournament

The Carolina University Women's Volleyball team participated in a series of matches over the weekend. The team faced Haskell Indian Nations University and Florida College in Temple Terrace, Florida.

In their first match against Haskell, the Bruins emerged victorious after four sets with scores of 25-21, 20-25, 25-17, and 25-15. SarahElizabeth Samules played a key role offensively by achieving 10 kills. Rebecca Walker contributed significantly on defense with 22 digs.

Later that day, the Bruins competed against Florida College but were defeated as the Eagles won in three straight sets. Despite the loss, Samules continued to lead with six kills. Britney Comolli and Kamra King each added five kills to the effort. However, the team struggled with their serving game, which had been strong throughout the season, managing only two aces during this match.

The team is scheduled to play again on November 16th against Florida National University at 3:30 PM.
