Carolina University's volleyball team ends season after regional championship loss

Carolina University Women's Volleyball team faced Regent University in the NCCAA South Region Championship on November 10 in Winston-Salem, NC. The Bruins ended their season with a narrow loss, concluding the match 3-1 against the Royals.

Regent University won the opening set 25-16. Carolina responded by winning the second set with an identical score of 25-16, aided by enthusiastic support from their student section. However, Regent regained momentum to secure victory in the final two sets, finishing them at 25-22 and 25-18.

Syvannah Poore had a standout performance for Carolina, contributing 17 assists, 13 digs, and two aces. Camilla Garner led her team with 15 kills while Erica Pasa made notable contributions with five aces and three blocks.

The Lady Bruins concluded their season with a record of 21 wins and nine losses, achieving an impressive 11-2 record against NCCAA opponents.
