Carolina University Women's Volleyball team secured a victory against Bob Jones University in a competitive match held in Winston-Salem, NC. The match ended with Carolina winning three out of four sets: 25-19, 25-22, 23-25, and 25-22.
The first set was closely contested with both teams exchanging points frequently. Carolina eventually won the set 25-19. Sarah Elizabeth Samuels played a key role offensively with 10 kills, while senior setter Kamra King contributed significantly by recording 26 assists. The momentum carried into the second set as Carolina won it comfortably.
Bob Jones made a comeback in the third set, taking advantage of some lost rhythm from Carolina to win that round. Rebecca Walker's defensive efforts were notable as she provided 14 digs for her team. However, Carolina regained control in the fourth set to secure their overall victory.
Carolina University's next game is scheduled for Tuesday, October 22nd against Paine College at 5:00 PM.
