Carolina University's women's basketball team secured a narrow victory against Montreat College on November 1, with a final score of 65-62. The Bruins maintained control for most of the game but faced a challenge in the fourth quarter when Montreat attempted a comeback. Despite this, Carolina University managed to hold onto their lead and win.

DenAsia Mitchell played a key role in the team's success, contributing 21 points, nine assists, six rebounds, and two steals. Shamya Loman also made an impact by achieving her first double-double for the Bruins, scoring 12 points and securing 11 rebounds on her birthday.

The Bruins will play their next game at home against Mid-Atlantic Christian University on November 10 at Williams Gymnasium.
