Carolina University Softball falls short against North Carolina Wesleyan

Carolina University Softball faced a challenging doubleheader against North Carolina Wesleyan University on Monday. The Lady Bruins were unable to secure a victory, losing both games with scores of 0-5 and 1-8.

In the first game, Madison Hamilton pitched all seven innings for the Bruins. Makenzie Brown managed to hit a double for the team.

During the second game, the Bruins initially took a lead of 1-0 in the top of the first inning. However, the Bishops responded by scoring two runs in the bottom of the second inning. The Bruins could not add any more runs throughout the remaining innings, concluding with a score of 1-8. Alexis Wynne pitched six innings for Carolina University in this match.

Looking ahead, the Lady Bruins will travel to face Truett McConnell University's Bears in another doubleheader on Saturday, March 30th.
