Bruins secure win against Paine College; prepare for next match

The Blue and Gold team claimed victory in a recent basketball game between the Carolina University Bruins and the Lions of Paine College. The match, held in Winston Salem, NC, saw the Bruins improving their record to 8-5 while the Lions fell to 3-10.

This win served as redemption for the Bruins after a previous loss to the Lions. Key contributors to this victory included Shamya Loman with 20 points, Bianca Gonzales with 18 points, and Shantazia Gordon also scoring 18 points. These performances helped end Paine College's three-game winning streak.

DenAsia Mitchell was notable for her six rebounds and ten assists, while Azaria Landry added nine points and four rebounds for the Bruins. The team's effort and energy were evident throughout the game.
