Carolina University Women's Basketball team secured a comeback victory against Toccoa Falls College in a road game on November 29. The Lady Bruins, now with a record of 3-3, faced the Screaming Eagles, who are ranked number one in the NCCAA D2 Coaches Poll and hold a 7-2 record.
Toccoa Falls initially led with a narrow 29-28 advantage at halftime. However, Carolina University responded strongly in the second half, scoring twenty-one points and maintaining their lead until the end of the game.
DenAsia Mitchell was pivotal for the Lady Bruins, leading with 22 points. Shamya Loman contributed significantly with 8 points and 9 rebounds, nearly achieving a double-double. Kamelija Ignatova also made an impact from the bench by scoring ten points and hitting two out of three three-point attempts.
