Carolina University Baseball faced Columbia International University in a doubleheader on Wednesday. The Bruins emerged victorious in the first game with a score of 9-6, hitting two home runs. However, the Rams secured a win in the second game, ending with a score of 9-6.

During Game 1, the Bruins turned the tide in the bottom of the fourth inning. Trailing 1-4, they capitalized on pitching errors and three walked batters to secure eight runs, concluding the inning at 9-4. Bryan Deegan contributed significantly by hitting a home run and achieving three RBIs.

In Game 2, Columbia International started strong and maintained their lead. Although four Bruins hit doubles, they couldn't sustain their earlier momentum from Game 1.

Looking ahead, Carolina University will host Bluefield University for a single game next Wednesday.
