Carolina University wins first round at NCCAA South Region Baseball Championships

Carolina University Baseball achieved a significant victory in the first round of the NCCAA South Region Baseball Championships. Competing against Southeastern Baptist Bible College, the Bruins won with a score of 16-6 in a 7-inning game.

The Bruins took an early lead with three runs by the top of the third inning. By the fourth inning, their lead was unassailable for the Chargers.

Paxton Tucker hit a home run in the sixth inning, adding two RBIs and bringing Bryan Deegan back to home plate. Alexiel Delgado contributed with three doubles, while Alejandro Rodriguez added one triple and one stolen base.

Kaleb Whitaker was instrumental in securing the win for Carolina University, achieving five strikeouts over 4.2 innings.
