Kernersville is set to undergo overnight repairs to its wastewater system, beginning Sunday, May 19, at 8 p.m. and continuing until 6 a.m. the following morning. The work is scheduled for completion by Thursday, May 23, at 6 a.m.
During this project, brief periods of single lane closures will occur on several streets. These include East Mountain Street between Davis Street and NC Highway 66, West Mountain Street between Baxter and Nelson streets, and North Cherry Street between Armfield and Orr streets.
