The Neighborhood Services Department is inviting residents to attend one of six community meetings to learn about code enforcement, housing services, programs to encourage stronger neighborhoods, and the Transforming Urban Residential Neighborhoods (TURN) program.

"The TURN program offers home repairs for low- to moderate-income homeowners who live in approved areas of the city. Homeowners can receive up to $65,000 in forgivable loans to make necessary repairs to their property. Eligible repairs include roofs, windows and doors, decks and patios, plumbing and electrical systems.

Homeowners can also receive loans for emergency repairs that constitute a threat to health and safety, or for work that makes the home more accessible for people with physical disabilities."
