Gabrielle Barone is continuing her passion for writing and broadcast journalism through graduate school at Columbia University School of Journalism in Manhattan, New York.
HPU's Nido R. Qubein School of Communication provided the tools and challenges she needed to succeed, including experience in an ultramodern newsroom, producing student-run shows and capturing stories in the community
Her HPU professors Ken Medlin and Joe Michaels, former producer of NBC's TODAY show for 22 years, were exceptional mentors, and wrote letters of recommendation that helped her get into graduate school
Being surrounded by hard-working peers on HPU's inspiring campus inspired her to achieve her own goals and dreams
