Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools issued the following announcement on January 21.
January 21, 2022 - The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education will meet inside the auditorium of the Education Building at 4801 Bethania Station Road in Winston-Salem on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, for its regularly scheduled meetings. The Curriculum Committee work session will begin at 4:30 p.m. The Finance Committee work session will begin at 5:00 p.m. Closed session of the full board will begin at 5:30 p.m. and open session begins at 6:30 p.m.
During the regular meeting, a public hearing will be held on the naming of the new maintenance facility and the R.J. Reynolds High School practice field. The board will receive public comments about naming suggestions for the the facility and the practice field.
All individuals attending will be required to wear a face covering for the duration of the meeting per the WS/FCS Board of Education’s mask mandate. The meeting will be available for viewing on WS/FCS Cable2 (Spectrum viewers) or a link to the live broadcast can be found on the WS/FCS Cable2 webpage.
