Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools issued the following announcement on January 14.
January 14, 2022 - Notice of Public Hearing before the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School Board of Education on the naming of the new maintenance facility and the R.J. Reynolds High School practice field. By direction of the Board of Education, notice is hereby given that the WS/FCS Board of Education will hold a public hearing during its regular meeting in the auditorium of the Education Building, 4801 Bethania Station Road, Winston-Salem, N.C., at 6:30 p.m. on January 25, 2022 to receive suggestions to name the facility and the practice field. Persons needing special assistance or non-English speaking persons should contact the Lisa Sugg at (336) 727-2292 before the hearing. Names can be submitted in advance via the Facilities Naming Form located on the WS/FCS Facilities/Construction website, www.wsfcs.k12.nc.us/page/105560, or P.O. Box 2513, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27102-2513.
