Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools issued the following announcement on November 18.
November 18, 2021 - The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education will meet at 5. p.m. on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 to discuss the masking policy for the district.
The board will meet in open session inside the Board Auditorium located in the Education Building at 4801 Bethania Station Road in Winston-Salem. All individuals attending will be required to wear a face covering for the duration of the meeting per the WS/FCS Board of Education’s mask mandate.
There will be a period for public comments, but there are a limited number of spots. The first 30 people to sign up that afternoon will have one minute each to speak. Doors will open at 4 p.m. and that is when those wishing to speak can sign up.
The meeting will be available for viewing on WS/FCS Cable2 (Spectrum viewers) or a link to the live broadcast can be found on the WS/FCS Cable2 webpage.
