Public Health Is Out of Cash Cards for Vaccinations, More Expected Soon

Forsyth County issued the following announcement on August 4.

The Forsyth County Department of Public Health has run out of cash cards for first dose vaccinations and for non-commercial drivers who transport someone for their first dose. More cash cards are expected in later this week and an announcement will be made when they arrive.

Today was the first day the incentive for first doses for individuals 18 and older was increased to $100. A $25 cash card was also being offered for those who transport individuals for their first dose. More than 298 people were vaccinated by 4:30 p.m. today, when the cards ran out.
