On Sunday, March 16, former West Forsyth High School standout Zach Lewis’ current college team, the Appalachian State Mountaineers, won 10-8 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Texas State Bobcats.

The game took place at Jim and Bettie Smith Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Bobcats this season.

The Mountaineers’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18 at 6 p.m. at Hayes Stadium against Charlotte 49ers.
