Work progresses on crucial sewer rehabilitation projects in Winston-Salem’s System-Wide and Sprague Neighborhood areas. As a result, several streets will be temporarily closed to facilitate the ongoing work. A contractor will close four streets from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays starting Monday, April 28.

The affected streets include Cranford Street, Ryandale Road, Sprague Street, and Edwards Street. Work on these sections is anticipated to be finished by Friday, May 2, circumstances allowing.

The contractor will manage all necessary traffic control measures. Motorists are advised to avoid these areas and anticipate delays by considering alternate routes.
